Ballheads -
Fanatics x Topps
When the sporting giant Fanatics moved in for the corporate takeover of Topps, I didn't just watch the tectonic plates shift—I harnessed the friction.
I looked at the mountain of physical Fanatics apparel and decided to digitize its DNA. I birthed Ballheads: a Web3 avatar species designed to survive the merger and thrive in the Metaverse. These weren't just pixels; they were a new lifeform hatched from deep within my imagination.
Using a high-octane cocktail of Cinema 4D and After Effects, I transmuted physical threads into digital armor. It was my way of taking the legacy of Topps and the scale of Fanatics and forging something entirely untouchable. It started with a stitch and a curveball, but evolved into a psychedelic, wearable revolution.

Digital Fashion House
Stage 1.0 : The Curated Collectible
We began by shattering the mold of the standard avatar. In this phase, every Ballhead is a one-of-one masterpiece. I took the Fanatics physical clothing range and transmuted it into high-fidelity digital gear. These are bespoke, swappable identities where you can mix and match the rarest threads—from authentic jerseys and pro-grade helmets to surrealist touches like hamburger heads. If you can wear it in the stadium, your Ballhead can wear it in the vault.
Stage 2.0 : The Metaverse Awakening
But we aren't just staying on the shelf. In Stage 2.0, the "egg" fully cracks open. Ballheads are evolving into fully rigged, hyper-mobile digital entities. Your Fanatics gear is no longer just a static asset; it’s your uniform for the Metaverse. Whether you're sprinting through a digital arena or socializing in a virtual lounge, your Ballhead is a playable extension of your fandom—brought to life with the fluidity of a pro athlete and the soul of a street-art icon.

Stitching the Future
Building the world of Ballheads meant doing more than just drawing characters; I had to architect an entire digital fashion house from the ground up. To make the concept hit, I engineered a comprehensive Ballheads clothing line for the initial launch—a high-fidelity wardrobe that took the raw, physical grit of the Fanatics apparel range and transmuted it into the virtual plane.
From street-ready hoodies to pro-spec jerseys and helmets, I didn't just 'skin' an avatar; I created a modular, swappable ecosystem where every stitch was designed in Cinema 4D to ensure that when the corporate takeover shook the foundations, our digital identity stayed sharp.
